The Urban Session

OMG!  (that is teen text language for Oh my...well...ya know) I have been wanting to do an urban session just like this for some time now.  Then I was introduced to this lovely teen and it just had to be done.  Isn't "C" the perfect subject for this look?   No, these are not your mama's senior pictures.  This is current, edgy, hard and little bit rock-n-roll.  I am breaking out of my usual routine and digging the results!  Who knew a beautiful girl could make rust, scrap metal, broken down shacks and a laundrymat look sooooo good??  You rock, "C".  PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Bits and Pieces

I started designing these new Bits and Pieces collages for parents to admire the many precious parts of their little ones.  Baby Stella was the perfect model to show them off to my clients!  They are 20 x 20 collages printed on heavy-weight matboard and ready to frame.  These keepsakes are truly unique with customizable text and colors so they will coordinate perfectly with your baby's nursery.  These make wonderful gifts for grandparents too. Couldn't you just eat her with a spoon??PhotobucketPhotobucket

Oh Baby!

Talk about a handsome family! With parents this attractive, good looks were all in the genes for Baby S. This little one will celebrate her 1st birthday this month so we celebrated with some great photos. I know Mom and Dad will love these images. Those eyes....those chubby cheeks.....those sweet little piggies.... Turns out this Mom and I met briefly about 3 years ago and she put the pieces together. What a small world after all :) Great to see you again and enjoy the sneak peeks!PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Editing Effects

Post-production editing creates so many different effects that it is hard to narrow down favorites.  I often give clients several versions of the same shot since they all seem very individual and unique.  I will showcase below a few examples of editing techniques which enhance and sometimes change the entire mood of a photo.  Did I mention how much I loved photographing this bride?
